Tubal Sterilization
If your family is complete, our office can help you “tie your tubes”. The procedure is a simple, outpatient surgery with minimal down-time.
Alternatives to Hysterectomy
You have choices to treat your heavy or irregular bleeding, pain or prolapse. Hysterectomy might be the best choice for some women, but not for everyone. We can help you understand your treatment options.
Painful Sex
Conditions that cause pelvic pain can also cause painful sex, but other possible diagnosis include vaginal atrophy (from lack of estrogen), vaginal infections and serious sexually-transmitted diseases. We can help you discover the cause, in order to individualize your treatment.
Vaginal Bleeding After Menopause
Don’t ever ignore this serious symptom! Even if the bleeding is light, over 20% of the time there may be cancer, pre-cancer, polyps or fibroids in your uterus.
Pelvic Prolapse
Pelvic prolapse is a hernia in your vagina. A “fallen” bladder, rectum, or uterus can push into (and out of!) your vagina. Prolapse can cause pain, incontinence and constipation. Treatments include Kegel exercises, pelvic biofeedback therapy, and surgery.
